Battle Royale Still On For Saturday

Despite flooding in Lincoln and several inches of rain in Omaha on Thursday, the Platte River Battle Royale is still on as scheduled for Saturday. Here’s the word from the Psycowpath Series:

Kris was on site this afternoon and the tread is holding and the horse trail up to them is surprisingly firm. Let’s say a little prayer that they don’t run horses on it.

Get yourself registered now and avoid the last minute rush. It gets crazy on Friday after work and I’d hate for you to lose out on early registration.

Online registration closes at 7pm Friday, May 8, and there is a $10 fee for onsite registration.

Click these links to register for mountain bike racing, and for trail running.

REMINDER: RACE OFFICIALS AND VOLUNTEERS ARE THE ONLY CARS ALLOWED DOWN THE GRAVEL ROAD NEXT TO THE RACE START. ALL OTHERS MUST PARK ON PAVEMENT. FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR PARKING.

REMINDER #2: YOU MUST PURCHASE A $5 STATE PARK DAY PASS OR ANNUAL STICKER TO ENTER THE PARK. You can buy them online or go to the nearest Omaha Game & Parks office. They will probably also have someone at the entrance booth collecting money.

Full race details are available on Psycowpath.com! We’ll see you on the start line!
